Israeli forces targeted the Soussi Tower west of Gaza City in a series of airstrikes, destroying it completely.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it had bombed a “multi-story building used by Hamas in Gaza City,” noting that “Hamas had deployed intelligence-gathering equipment and observation points in the building to monitor our troops’ movements.”

In a statement following the strike on Soussi Tower, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said: “We will continue.”
