Watch: Nightclub Burns with Everyone Inside
At least 23 people have died following a fire at a nightclub in the Indian state of Goa, early this morning, according to local media citing state police.

The Indian Express and other outlets reported that most of the victims are believed to be staff members, and bodies have been recovered from the site.

India’s PTI news agency quoted Goa’s police chief saying that authorities suspect the fire, which broke out around midnight, was caused by a gas cylinder explosion in the club’s kitchen. It was not immediately clear if there were any injured.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the coastal town of Arpora, north of Goa, an area known for its beaches, nightlife, and tropical climate that attracts both domestic and international tourists.
