Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa published his first post on the X platform, congratulating the Syrian people on the lifting of sanctions on Syria, accompanied by a video.

Al-Sharaa wrote: “I congratulate the Syrian people on this historic day, which crowns years of patience and sacrifice with the lifting of sanctions on Syria. Through the will of Syrians and the support of brothers and friends, a chapter of suffering has been closed and a new phase of reconstruction has begun. Hand in hand, we move forward toward a future worthy of our people and our nation.”
