Qatari authorities confirmed the evacuation of some personnel from the Al Udeid US Air Base located on its territory, amid the current escalation in the region.

The Qatar International Media Office issued a statement saying: "In response to media reports about the withdrawal of some personnel from the Al Udeid US Air Base, the Qatar International Media Office announces that these measures were taken in response to the current escalation in the region. Qatar continues to take steps to protect its citizens and foreign residents in the country, particularly by ensuring the security of critical infrastructure and military facilities."
