Peskov noted that Russia and Armenia share a number of integration projects that contribute to continued cooperation between them.

Commenting on the nuclear projects between Yerevan and Washington, he said that “Russian nuclear expertise surpasses the American counterpart, while service costs are lower.”

Armenia and the United States recently agreed to cooperate on nuclear energy for civilian purposes, as Washington seeks to strengthen ties with a former close ally of Russia, following its mediation of a peace agreement in the South Caucasus region a few months ago.
