Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul says that controlled ruling-system change in Iran is not realistic and that chaos is not in the country’s interest.

Yesterday, Wadephul said that it would be important for the US and Israel to define “when they consider the military aims of their deployment to have been reached” in their ongoing war with Iran.

Before meeting with his EU counterparts in Brussels, Wadephul said Iran’s government poses a significant danger to the region, the shipping industry and the global economy, and “this danger definitely must not continue”.
