Iranian forces threatened Sunday to completely close the Strait of Hormuz if US President Donald Trump carries out his threat to target the Islamic Republic's energy facilities, according to AFP.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the central operations room of the armed forces, said in a statement carried by state television, "If the US threats regarding Iranian energy facilities are carried out...the Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed and will not be reopened until our destroyed energy facilities are rebuilt."
