The New York Times, according to Israeli officials and informed sources, reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued orders on Tuesday to make every effort over the next 48 hours to destroy as much of Iran’s weapons industry as possible.

The report confirmed that Netanyahu’s decision came after his government received a copy of a 15-point U.S. plan to end the war, which had been sent to Iran, emphasizing that “the deadline set by Netanyahu reflects the Israeli government’s concern that U.S. President Donald Trump could announce peace talks at any moment.”
