The US Department of Defense announced that the cost of the war on Iran has so far reached $29 billion, while it could rise to $1 trillion when accounting for the cost of replacing munitions and energy-related burdens.

A war budget expert confirmed that the US war on Iran will ultimately cost American taxpayers at least $1 trillion.

A senior Pentagon official said the updated cost of the conflict includes upgrades, repairs, and replacement of equipment, in addition to operational expenses.
