According to official physical tracking data from FIFA, the Feyenoord left-back reached a top speed of 36.7 km/h during his country’s 2–0 win over Turkey in the opening match. He was closely followed by Norwegian striker Erling Haaland and Uzbekistan defender Abdukodir Khusanov, both recorded at 36.5 km/h.

They edged out well-known speed stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Son Heung-min, and Pedro Neto.
