A sandstorm has reached Lebanon from desert areas in North Africa, as shown in the attached video, with thick layers of dust visible along the Beirut coast.
The storm coincides with Lebanon being affected by “khamsin” winds, an annual spring phenomenon, and is expected to gradually subside starting Thursday, according to the Meteorological Department.
