Sleiman Damien steps into the spotlight
Sleiman Damien has long been one of the region’s go-to producers, the kind of name artists drop when they want to level up their sound. From major pop records to underground favorites, his production style is instantly recognizable. After producing for icons like George Wassouf, Haifa Wehbe, Carole Samaha and many others, he’s now stepping into the spotlight with solo releases that reflect his own sonic identity, starting with “Mentuliza” and “Ya Zarif.”

“I’ve been blessed to have so much success helping others find and develop their sound” he says, “I feel it’s about time i set my own sound free”.

His solo work blends Arabic melodies with electronic production, but it’s not boxed into any one sound. “Mentuliza”, featuring Anthony Keirouz and Kenyan vocalist Idd Aziz, is a hypnotic Afro-Arabic track built for the dancefloor, while “Ya Zarif”, in collaboration with Palestinian singer Nai Barghouti, reimagines a traditional Levantine classic with a bold, modern twist.

“I’m not thinking about where it fits, I’m just focused on making music that feels right,” he adds.

With over 900 million streams tied to his name, Sleiman’s reputation as a producer precedes him. But solo artistry is a different game, and he’s more than ready to play it.
“I’ve been building this sound in the background for a while now. I’m ready.”
