Former head of Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt contacted by phone Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Minister and Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov, to congratulate him on the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism.

Jumblatt asked Bogdanov to convey his congratulations to the Russian leadership, represented by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, on this occasion.
