Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar confirmed that “the process of distributing ballot boxes in the North and Akkar governorates is going well; it is ongoing in Tripoli and Danniyeh, and has been completed in the other districts.”
In an interview with MTV, he said: “The distribution in Batroun has been completed, and many employees arrived early, as we assigned a large number of them to avoid any shortage. We are working to complete two centers as quickly as possible.”
He added: “We made great efforts to receive complaints and follow up on everything happening on the ground. Only a few complaints were received, and they were resolved.”
He noted that “the security forces will be deployed seriously, especially in Tripoli,” and concluded: “We hope everything will go smoothly.”
