The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
"Following to the statement issued on May 9, 2025, concerning the Army's call for citizens to cooperate with the measures taken to ensure the security of the electoral process, military units deployed in the North Lebanon and Akkar governorates continue to carry out patrols, set up checkpoints, and monitoring points around polling stations in order to prevent any disturbances to security.
The Army Command reiterates its call for citizens to cooperate with these measures to facilitate the electoral process and enable them to express their opinions in an atmosphere of freedom and democracy."
