A fight broke out in the town of Younin in northern Bekaa over the municipal elections, starting as a disagreement among members of the same family and later escalating into gunfire. During the incident, a person from another family was accidentally shot and killed.

Security forces and the army immediately arrived at the scene to work on calming the situation.

It was reported that the young man who was killed by gunfire was from the Zeineldein family.
