Earthquake Strikes Greece, Shakes Lebanon and Surroundings
An earthquake with a magnitude of about 6 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of the Greek island of Crete, according to the German Research Centre for Geosciences. The center announced that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 77 kilometers.

Residents of northern areas in Lebanon, especially coastal cities like Tripoli, Miniyeh, and Koura, felt a light tremor around 6:30 in the morning.

It was also reported that residents of Egypt, Syria, and Palestine felt the earthquake's tremors.
