In a shocking scene, a human skeleton was recently found in the sea near Jbeil Port. Civil defense teams immediately arrived at the site and worked to retrieve the remains to the shore, amid the astonishment of gathered citizens around the area.

According to initial information, the remains are a fully decomposed body, consisting of an almost complete skeleton with remnants of torn clothing, suggesting the body had been in the water for more than two months. Estimates indicate that sea fish consumed most of the body, leaving only the bones.

The body is completely unidentified, as it carries no documents or identification papers, and its advanced state of decomposition makes recognizing any features impossible.

Security forces and ambulance teams arrived at the scene and began taking the necessary legal procedures, awaiting the arrival of the forensic doctor to examine the remains and try to identify the victim and the circumstances of death.
