Lebanese stranded in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, have appealed to President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to intervene with Egyptian authorities to facilitate their return to Lebanon and assist them, following the suspension of civilian flights to Beirut due to the military confrontation between Iran and Israel.
The approximately 600 Lebanese nationals reported living in difficult conditions, having run out of money and baby formula, especially as many families include children, women, and elderly members, according to the National News Agency.
