Finance Minister Yassine Jaber received in his office at the ministry, the World Bank Regional Director Jean-Christophe Carret, accompanied by the World Bank Group's new Country Manager for Lebanon, Enrique Blanco Armas, who arrived in Beirut yesterday.
The discussion touched on a number of vital developmental projects for Lebanon financed by the World Bank.
Minister Yassine stressed that cooperation with the World Bank is ongoing, and that there are other areas open for this cooperation in the future.
Minister Jaber also met with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with whom he discussed with matters related to the services the bank plansto provide to Lebanon, particularly in the area of assisting the private sector operating in reconstruction and development projects.
