Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Rajji received US Envoy Tom Barrack, along with his accompanying delegation, in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson. 

Ambassador Barrack briefed Minister Rajji on the outcome of his meetings with Lebanese officials.

For his part, the Foreign Minister outlined the aspirations of the Lebanese people regarding the assertion of the Lebanese state's authority and sovereignty over all its territory, as well as Lebanon's future position and role in the region. Minister Rajji also thanked the US presidential envoy for his initiative and the efforts he is undertaking on behalf of the US administration to help Lebanon rebuild its state, strengthen its institutions, and achieve stability and economic recovery.
