Salam receives Beirut Bar Association delegation, emphasizes justice reform
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam welcomed Beirut Bar Association President Fadi Al-Masri accompanied by Dany Karam, Mohammad Matar, and Professor Najib Fahed El-Hage Shahin, head of the Bar’s Arbitration Center.

Following the meeting, Al-Masri thanked the Prime Minister for his participation in the "Beirut Arbitration Days" and his impactful keynote address, which resonated strongly with participants from 43 countries. He praised the Prime Minister’s commitment to restoring Lebanon’s sovereignty and leadership in the Arab world.

Al-Masri emphasized the Bar Association’s role in safeguarding freedoms and the rule of law and stressed the need to seize this historical moment to build a just state. 

The discussion also covered administrative reform, including public registries, and continued conversations on revitalizing the justice sector. 

Al-Masri reiterated the need to begin with judicial reform, from infrastructure and salaries to judicial appointments, highlighting a shared action plan with the Prime Minister to achieve these goals.
