The Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Jeita announced that, following intensive efforts, an amicable agreement has been reached to reopen Jeita Grotto for the upcoming tourism season. The municipality has already launched comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation works on the site and its cable car.

The grotto will welcome visitors starting July 15. An official reopening ceremony will be held on July 21 under the patronage of President Joseph Aoun, represented by Minister of Tourism Laura el Khazen Lahoud.

The statement emphasized Jeita Grotto’s importance as a national landmark and natural treasure.
