Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed at the second presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, the US Special Envoy to Lebanon and Syria Thomas Barrack, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson, and Speaker Berri's media advisor Ali Hamdan.

The meeting, which lasted more than an hour, addressed developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as political and field updates.

On emerging, Barrack said: “The meeting with the House Speaker was excellent, and we are working forward to achieve stability.”
