The delegation included a delegation from the "Silent Witness" campaign, a rapporteur from the Public Prosecutor's Office, and representatives of the victims' families. The delegation also included a group of engineers and associations working for the protection of heritage and cultural property, in the presence of architect Jad Tabet.

The delegation included: Cécile Roukoz, Dr. Yahya Temsah, engineer Nahida Khalil, Marana Fadoulian, Shukri Haddad, Paul Najjar, Edward Bitar, and Natalie Chahine.

The meeting focused on the consequences of the port explosion tragedy and the right of the victims' families to uncover the truth and bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice, pending a final judicial decision.

The delegation requested that the silos at the Port of Beirut be designated as a memorial to the crime of the port explosion, regardless of any judicial decision.

Minister Salameh stated that he "has continued to follow up this issue for some time with all parties and officials concerned, and is in close contact with cultural affairs specialists and experts to review reports regarding the state of the silos." He expressed the hope that "the desired outcome will be achieved before the 4th of next month, which marks the fifth anniversary of the port explosion."
