Al Hadath sources reported that Hezbollah’s military wing informed Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri that it will not hand over its weapons even if Israel withdraws, and that it is not interested in any economic or reconstruction conference.

The sources also revealed that Hezbollah told Berri it will not go along with any decision, even if someone else commits to it, and that it is ready for confrontation with the Lebanese state if it chooses to take that path.

According to the sources, Hezbollah says that no one within the party has the authority to make a decision on handing over the weapons.
