Lebanon’s national basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIBA Asia Cup, hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after a decisive 97–73 win over Japan in Tuesday night’s Round of 16 knockout match, where they delivered an outstanding performance, playing their best game of the continental tournament so far, following a win over Qatar and losses to Australia and South Korea in the group stage.
