The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation has categorically denied recent claims circulated by certain media outlets and websites alleging that the Lebanese Air Force has breached Syrian airspace to monitor military activity along the border.

In an official statement, the Army emphasized that these reports are entirely unfounded. It confirmed that military units are actively monitoring the border area and implementing all necessary measures to maintain security and control. Furthermore, coordination with the relevant Syrian authorities is ongoing to address any emerging developments.

The Army Command called on media platforms to exercise greater responsibility and accuracy when reporting on sensitive security matters. It warned of the serious implications such misinformation can have and urged the public to rely solely on official army statements for accurate information.
