Minister of Labor Mohammed Haidar wrote on X: 

“The government is scheduled to hold a session tomorrow, Friday, focusing on the issue of exclusive control of weapons. However, in stark contrast, Israeli forces launched deadly raids this evening, targeting civilians and sending a terrifying message of disregard for Lebanese political decisions and international mediation.

This escalation raises urgent questions about the viability of ongoing discussions on disarmament given the continued risk of such attacks. Many are now calling for unified national action to confront and resist this aggression."
