Ministers Rakan Nasreddine, Yassine Jaber, Mohammad Haidar, and Tamara Al-Zein have left Baabda Palace as Army Commander entered the Cabinet session to present the army’s plan, while Minister Fadi Makki remains in the palace, but submitted his resignation to the President.

Presidential sources told MTV regarding Makki’s resignation: “This is a symbolic resignation, not an actual one.”

Meanwhile, after withdrawing from the session with the shiite duo ministers, Haidar said: “Our decision to withdraw from the session reflects our rejection of discussing the US proposal.”
