President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic Summit in Qatar.

President Aoun thanked the Jordanian Monarch for "the support Jordan provides to Lebanon at the regional and international forums, and the assistance it provides to the Lebanese Army."

President Aoun also met with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on the sidelines of the Doha summit.
