Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed at the second presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong who paid him a protocol visit upon assuming his new diplomatic duties in the country.

The visit was also an opportunity to review the general situation in Lebanon and the broad region, in addition to the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

Separately, Speaker Berri welcomed at Ain El-Tineh, the new Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Lebanon, Geon Gyusuk, who paid him a protocol visit.

The discussion reportedly touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries.
