Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met at the Grand Serail with Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Minister of State and Chairman of Qatar Charity, accompanied by Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Discussions centered on bilateral cooperation and humanitarian initiatives.

The Prime Minister also received German Ambassador Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried for talks on general developments, bilateral relations, and continued German support to Lebanon, particularly to the Lebanese Army.

Later, Salam met MP Mohammad Sleiman, who reaffirmed support for the Prime Minister’s reform efforts aimed at restoring international and Arab confidence and attracting investment, notably from Gulf states. 

Suleiman underlined Akkar’s development priorities, with Salam assuring his commitment to advancing projects in the region, including the Qlayaat Airport, pending parliamentary approval of the required legislation.
