President Joseph Aoun affirmed that "Lebanon has returned to the international map after years of absence."

Speaking to newly accredited ambassadors before they assume their posts abroad, he said: "It is your duty to be ambassadors for a unified Lebanon, embracing all components of Lebanese society without any sectarian or partisan discrimination. Place the interest of your country above all else."
