Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson at the Grand Serail, in a farewell visit marking the end of her diplomatic mission in Beirut.
Earlier, Salam met with Father Joseph Moukarzel, President of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), accompanied by adviser Nehmat Azouri.
Following the meeting, Father Moukarzel expressed support for the Prime Minister and his government, stressing that the university places all its resources at their disposal to contribute to Lebanon’s recovery. He also extended an invitation to Salam to attend the installation of USEK’s new president, scheduled for October 15.
