French President Emmanuel Macron in a letter to Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, affirmed France’s determination to organize two international conferences in support of Lebanon, one dedicated to assisting the Lebanese Army and another focused on the country’s reconstruction and recovery.

Macron also commended President Aoun for the “courageous decisions taken to ensure that all weapons remain exclusively in the hands of the legitimate Lebanese armed forces,” reiterating France’s continued commitment to Lebanon’s stability and sovereignty.
