Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raggi welcomed the new Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Lebanon, Karolina Lindholm Billing, on a courtesy visit during which she presented her credentials.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the Syrian displacement file and ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of refugees in line with the plan approved by the Lebanese government, in cooperation with UNHCR, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and in coordination with the Syrian state.
