Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on his account on X:
“To clarify matters: An Israeli army drone was downed on Sunday in the Kfar Kila area in southern Lebanon during a routine information-gathering and reconnaissance mission. The initial investigation revealed that UNIFIL forces present near the location deliberately opened fire at the drone, despite it posing no threat to them.”
