Yedioth Ahronoth, citing Israeli officials, reported that Hezbollah is regaining its capabilities on all fronts amid a renewed flow of Iranian funding, noting that Tel Aviv will not wait indefinitely.
The report added that Lebanon has dismantled 80 percent of Hezbollah’s weaponry south of the Litani River but is unable to complete the disarmament by year’s end. It also said that Washington has informed the Lebanese side it may not be able to prevent a potential Israeli military operation if the Lebanese government does not begin taking concrete and rapid steps toward disarming Hezbollah.
According to the newspaper, the upcoming Netanyahu–Trump meeting will be decisive in determining whether Israel secures U.S. approval for a major escalation in Lebanon.
