"The passing of our friend and colleague Dr. Ghassan Skaff reminds us that divine justice is entirely different from human justice. With his departure, Lebanon loses a calm parliamentary figure, a political presence marked by prudence and responsibility, and a doctor who never withheld his knowledge and humanity. Peace be upon his soul, and my heartfelt condolences to his family and to the people of Zahle and the Bekaa."
