Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, the newly elected President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU), Dr. Ibrahim Constantin, accompanied by the Union’s Secretary-General, Mohammad Reslan, and members of the new administrative body, in the presence of Chairman of Union’s Board of Trustees, former Union President, Abbas Fawaz.
The delegation came on a protocol visit following the Union’s recent election of its new administrative body.
The visit was also an opportunity to present the general situation, especially the situation of the Lebanese Diaspora and the Lebanese communities related affairs.
Separately, Speaker Berri received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, with whom he discussed the latest political developments and the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iran.
