How the Weather Will Be on Christmas Eve?
The Forecasting Division at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has predicted that tomorrow’s weather will be cloudy with fog over the highlands and a further drop in temperatures. Scattered heavy rain is expected in the north during the morning, accompanied by lightning and thunder, with snow falling at elevations of 2,000 meters. Conditions are expected to improve in the evening, becoming partly cloudy.

The bulletin states:

General Situation: Unstable weather will prevail over Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, leading to scattered rain and snow at 1,900 meters. Starting Friday evening, a winter weather system centered over the Black Sea will bring heavy rain, strong winds, snow, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

Note: Average December temperatures: Beirut 13–21°C, Tripoli 10–19°C, Zahle 4–14°C.

Expected Weather in Lebanon:

Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with fog over the highlands and lower temperatures. Scattered rain is possible, becoming heavier at night in northern areas with lightning, thunder, and active winds. Snow expected at 1,900 meters.

Wednesday: Cloudy with fog over the highlands and a further drop in temperatures. Scattered heavy rain in the north during the morning with lightning and thunder, and snow at 2,000 meters. Weather improves in the evening, turning partly cloudy.

Thursday: Mostly clear with rising temperatures, especially inland, lower humidity, and active winds in the north.

Friday: Partly cloudy with lower temperatures and rising humidity, forming fog over the highlands. Gradually turning cloudy from the afternoon, creating conditions for scattered evening rain with lightning, thunder, and active winds. Snow expected at 1,800 meters.
