President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received at Baabda Palace, MP Adib Abdel Massih, with whom he discussed the general situation and latest developments in the country.
On emerging, MP Abdel Massih said that the visit came to offer greetings to the President on the occasion of the holidays, saying that he congratulated President Aoun on the achievements realized during his presidential term at the national level in several dossiers.
MP Abdel Massih also highly valued the efforts made by the Lebanese army, voicing support for the military institution's statement regarding the state extending its authority across all Lebanese territory.
Separately, President Aoun received at Baabda Palace, the UN Deputy Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Resident and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator, Imran Riza, with the discussion touching on the activities carried out by the various United Nations organizations and associations in Lebanon, in addition to the situation of UN organizations in the Middle East region.
