Bahrain's Deputy PM receives Lebanese Interior Minister
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister, met with Ahmad Al-Hajar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of Lebanon on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the strong Bahrain-Lebanon relations, noting the shared keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Excellency General Joseph Aoun, President of the Lebanese Republic, to further develop and strengthen these ties across various sectors, particularly in security cooperation.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah reiterated Bahrain’s firm and supportive stance toward Lebanon, reaffirming the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Lebanese Republic and its support for all efforts aimed at safeguarding Lebanon’s security and stability, preserving its national unity, and protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the importance of continuing mutual visits between officials of the two countries to enhance coordination and consultation, particularly in light of ongoing efforts to activate the Bahrain–Lebanon Joint Committee as a framework for advancing cooperation and structuring future agreements and projects.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah also underscored the importance of advancing economic, trade, and investment relations, and encouraging private sector institutions in both countries to explore promising opportunities that serve mutual interests and contribute to shared growth and prosperity.

On his part, Minister Al Hajjar commended Bahrain’s principled stance toward Lebanon and expressed Lebanon’s aspiration to further strengthen bilateral relations.
