Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, from Davos, contacted Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal to get an update on the field developments in the south. He also contacted the Secretary-General of the High Relief Commission, Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi, and the Head of the ‏Head of the National Disaster Management Unit Zahi Chahine, requesting them to “ensure a rapid response and provide the necessary support to anyone affected by the Israeli attacks.”
