The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the security measures carried out by the military to combat drug trafficking, an Army unit conducted raids on the homes of wanted individuals in the Tal al-Abyad area of Baalbek. The operation led to the seizure of a mobile lab for manufacturing Captagon, loaded onto trucks, along with quantities of drugs, raw materials used in their production, and a number of weapons and ammunition.

The confiscated items were handed over, and an investigation has begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
