Lebanese Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal received in his office in Yarzeh the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Al-Hunaiti, accompanied by a delegation, following an official invitation from the Army Commander, in the presence of Jordanian Ambassador Walid Al-Hadid.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between the two armies and on the importance of the initiatives undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in support of the Lebanese Army. Major General Al-Hunaiti reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the Army to enhance its ability to carry out its duties, within the framework of the fraternal relations between the two countries.

General Haykal, for his part, expressed his appreciation for this support, which spans various fields, noting its contribution to strengthening the military institution’s capabilities as it carries out missions across the country.
