During his southern tour, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam pointed out that “we are working to continue relief efforts on one hand and to launch the reconstruction process on the other.”
He added in a speech from Bint Jbeil: “We have funds on hand to start our projects in the south to support the resilience of the people in their villages,” emphasizing that he is not visiting the southern villages “with empty promises.”
Salam continued: “We will allocate portions of the World Bank loan to Bint Jbeil District to repair roads, parts of the infrastructure, and electrical transformers. We will also provide a water pumping station and restore schools.”
