President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received a written message from South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit, conveyed by South Sudan’s Honorary Consul in Lebanon, Ali Marai. The message reaffirmed South Sudan’s desire to strengthen and expand bilateral relations across various sectors.
President Aoun also met with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission. The President wished him success in his new duties at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
