Berri addresses unsafe buildings in Tripoli, follows up on political developments
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received a delegation from the northern city of Tripoli, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh.

The delegation included Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Mohammad Imam, Tripoli's Maronite Archdiocese Archbishop Youssef Soueif, Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Tripoli, al-Koura and Dependencies, Metropolitan Ephraim Kyriakos, Sheikh Mohammad Abdul Karim Mustafa, representing the Alawite Islamic Council, North Lebanon Qaemmaqam, Iman Al-Rafi’i, and Tripoli Municipality Head, Abdul Hamid Karimeh.

The discussions focused on the situation in the city of Tripoli, particularly the issue of buildings at risk of collapse, and the practical measures taken to address this issue.

Speaker Berri also followed up on political and field developments, as well as the general situation and legislative matters, during his meeting with MPs Tony Frangieh and William Tawk.
